More stiff breezes for the weekend, but anglers fishing lee shorelines of interior bays are taking limits of specks.

Specks and reds. Best spots: Oak River, Four Horse Lake, Lake Calabese, , Lake John, Lake Campo, Oak River, Bay Lafourche, Lake Batolo, Lake John. Best baits: popping corks with plastics (chartreuse).


Trout, reds. Best guesses: Five Wells, The Rocks, Little Central, Bay Eloi, Mozambique, Black Bay Islands, Lake Machias, The Dam, St. Malo, Lake Robin, Lake Amadee, Hopedale Lagoon. Best baits: Gulp! (shrimp); market shrimp, live cockahoes.


Trout, reds, flounder. Best guesses: Reggio Canal, Lake Amadee, Lake Ameda, Grand Lagoon, Tanasia, Bayou Batolo, Bayou Robin. Best baits: sparkle beetles (purple/chartreuse tail), Saltwater Assassin (Electric Chicken) plastic cockahoes (purple).


Scattered reds and trout. Best guesses: The southeast shoreline of Lake Borgne should be good on the forecast wind; also try Bayou St. Malo, Stump Lagoon, The Dam. Best baits: topwater baits, live cockahoes.


Specks, reds. Best guesses: The Locks, The Castle, Lake Borgne side of The Wall, the rocks at Boh Brothers on Chalmette side, Lake Borgne shoreline to Proctor's Point. Best baits: Gulp (shrimp), Deadly Dudley (Blue Moon), live croakers.


Specks and reds. Best guesses: Gas Wells, Alligator Point, Star Bayou, Bayou Thomas rocks, new rocks in Lake Pontchartrain. Best baits: market shrimp.


Trout, reds, drum. Best spots: The bridges on change of tides, Lake St. Catherine shorelines, Hospital Wall. Best baits: Deadly Dudley (Fool's Gold), Saltwater Assassins, curly tail (chartreuse).


Trout, some reds and flounder. Best spots: lee side of The Trestles, Louisiana Hwy. 11 bridge, The Causeway; South Shore Harbor and Casino area. Best baits: Deadly Dudley Slamming Sammy, live cockahoes.


Trout and reds. Best spots: lee sides of Round Lake, Bay Cray, Bayou Dupont, structures on the lee side Barataria Bay. Best baits: plastics.


Reds, some trout. Best spots: Bay Round, Bayou Dupont, Bay Cray, Bay Five, Saturday Island, Shrug Rig, Lake Laurier, Bay Racquette, Bayou Dupont. Best baits: plastics, market shrimp, live cockahoes, gold spoons.


Trout and reds. Best spots: calmer days Iron Banks, Stone Island, American Bay, Bay Law islands, Whiskey Bay, Triple Pass, Bay Lafourche. Best baits: Saltwater Assassin (Acid Rain) sparkle beetles (clear, chartreuse) under a cork, some with market bait.


Trout on calmer days. Best guesses: English Bay, Bay Jacques, Scofield; east side from American Bay east to Iron Banks. Best baits: Deadly Dudley (Fool's Gold, Yellow Snow).


Reds, some trout. Best guesses: The edges of the Redfish Bay, Gardner Island Bay, Pass a Loutre; on east winds the reefs around Buras, Yellow Cotton; on west winds the east side to Iron Banks, Triple Pass, Stone Island. Deepwater Point. Best baits: live shrimp, market bait under cork, sparkle beetles, plastic cockahoes (black/chartreuse).


Reds, and trout. Best guesses: Palmetto Bayou, Bay Rambo, Bassa-Bassa, Fisherman's Bay; Louisiana 1 Canal. Best baits: live shrimp, live cockahoes, plastics (chartreuse); market bait.


Plenty of tuna around the floaters and some of the closer in rigs on calmer days.


Bream fishing hot everywhere, bass steady.


Bass. Best spots: Reggio Canal, Lake Lery, Bayou Juanita, Bayou Lachope, Bayou LeMere, Grand Lake, Spanish Lake area, Back Levee canal, Oak River, Caernarvon canals, Howard's Ditch. Best baits: beetle spins (black/yellow), plastic worms (purple, Tequila, pumpkin seed), DOA (glo).


Bream, bass. Best spots: Blue Point, The Pen, Lake Cataouatche, Bayou Dupont. Best baits: spinner baits, buzz baits (black/yellow), plastic worms (red shad), spinner baits (white and chartreuse); sac-a-lait hitting spinners (black/chartreuse), micro jigs.


Bream some bass. Best spots: West Pearl, The Turnaround, Bayou Liberty, Carr Drive, Bayou Lacombe, Geohagen's Canal. Best baits: spinner baits (yellow/chartreuse), plastic worms (Tequila); live shiners.


Bass. Grand Pass, Main Pass, Octave, Wagon Wheel. Best baits: spinners, jog n pig, plastic worms.
